Technical HW Project Manager
The position:
We are looking for a talented Technical HW Project Manager to join our dynamic team and work within a multidisciplinary group.
This role involves working on cutting edge IOT-sensors, designing and planning the HW aspect of the system, managing sub-contractors in the fields of mechanics, electronics and SW and will perform tests and experiments in the lab and field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary HW systems, ability to manage other people and view the “big picture” and “hands-on” capabilities and the drive to do so.

A day in the life:
- Lead the HW aspect of multi-disciplinary R&D projects as a member of one of the R&D groups.
- Manage projects from requirements through development to end delivery, the full project lifecycle.
- Work under tight deadlines and multitask a few projects.
- Work directly with the Product group and Operations for understanding and phrasing project requirements.
- Design the HW architecture of the system, while understanding and answering the project requirements, company’s goals and Operational day-to-day routines and capabilities.
- Drive design for reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, performance, cost and development time.
- Manage sub-contractors and follow-up.
- Lead and perform the integration and testing of the projects.
- Transfer the product to production with the support of the Supply Chain group.
- Assist R&D members to overcome technical and execution risks.
You bring to the table:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- At least 1-3 years of Project Manager experience for Multidisciplinary HW products.
- Experience in HW development and “hands-on” work.
- Experience in SW development for experiment analysis (preferably in Python).
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with other teams (Product, R&D, Operations and more).
- Excellent communication and presentation/oral skills.
- Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision.
- Wide perspective system view.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
