System Administrator
The position:
Join our dynamic Production group in the Operations department as part of the Technical Support team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of maintaining, supporting, and deploying Trigo’s cutting-edge production environment, which powers dozens of stores and hundreds of hardware and network components.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of production hardware and network infrastructure, configuring and deploying systems for new stores and sites and real-time troubleshooting of incidents. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in Operations and R&D to deliver seamless performance in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
A day in the life:
- Configure and deploy hardware, software, and network systems for new sites.
- Maintain and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Optimize network performance and ensure connectivity.
- Work closely with Operations and R&D teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time.
You bring to the table:
- At least 2 years of experience as a System Engineer\ System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with servers, firewalls, and network protocols, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with Linux systems, including shell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity and experience with Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and network security principles.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in high-pressure environments.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and HPE devices, including configuration and management.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
- Relevant certifications and courses.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
